Maithili S Parikh Wins Gold Medal for Highest Marks in LLB in Mumbai University


Maithili S. Parikh was awarded the Ragunath Jahagirdhar Gold Medal, 2017 for securing highest number of marks in the 5 year L.L.B degree examinations at the recent Convocation organised by University of Mumbai. She also won the Rangnathrao Trophy 2017 for securing the highest marks in Government Law College, Mumbai in 5 year L.L.B degree examinations. Maithili is the daughter of Minali and Saurabh S. Parikh and the granddaughter of Sulekha and Sandip Nathalal Parikh.

 
For her outstanding performance, Maithili also received the S.Venkiteswaran Prize in Law and Scholarship for having scored the 2nd highest marks in Public International Law & Human Rights in her college.
 
A former student of Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai, Maithili, who secured a First Class in the LLB exams, will now be joining the prestigious LLM course at the Harvard Law School, Massachusetts, USA in the Class of 2018.
