The first ever social get-together of members of the Palanpuri community in Hong Kong took place on the occasion of Diwali 2018. More than 65 people participated in the festive celebrations.
The event on November 11 was a long awaited coming together of families from Palanpur now living and working in Hong Kong and all those present said it was a grand success.
More such events are planned, with between two to four social celebrations expected to be held during the coming year. Those who took the initiative said that if the response to the gatherings is as good, then they may even aim to set up an organisation in the future.
Members can now request for a soft copy of the names and addresses of all those listed in the Directory in Excel format. The copy will contain the list with all the updates that have been informed by members till the last day of the previous month. This service is strictly for the use of Members Only.
