The Cultural Committee of Palanpur Samaj Kendra organized a Start-up Seminar on 27th January, 2019 at Shanti Bungalow, Mumbai with Somil Rahul Shah, Founder & CEO of QDS Pro as the Chief Speaker.
 

QDS Pro is a first of its kind 24 x 7 Online Doubt Solving Platform in India. It helps to resolve the doubts of all the students preparing for various management, law, bank and other entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, CET, NMAT, SNAP, etc.

Somil discussed the start-up culture in India, giving examples of various start-ups and their working/revenue models. He then went on to share his Eureka moment, the working of his start-up, the challenges that he faced while/after launching his start-up and how he overcame them. He also shared with all our guests the secret to building a start-up company, in terms of the line of thinking and the approach required. He further complemented his speech by giving career insights to all the students present and breaking traditional academic myths.

The speech was followed by a Q and A Session wherein all the guests were given an opportunity to ask question. Somil candidly answered all of them exemplifying most of his answers to make it relatable. The Q and A session slowly gave way to a nice discussion forum, with all the guests discussing about the overall business environment, impact of technology on current business scenario, and other allied topics.

The event was successful in achieving its aim of creating a positive impact on the minds of the guests, both young and old alike. It was a first of its kind seminar. Somil took a very innovative approach in delivering his speech. He spoke with all his heart, thereby connecting to all the guests. Somil also intrigued the audience by showcasing some of his Mental Math skills, on audience demand. The program went on for about 2 hours, after which refreshments were served to all the guests. It was a wonderful Sunday morning, well spent.
