PSK Single and Double Wicket Cricket Tournament 2019-20

Palanpur Samaj Sports Committee recently held the annual single and double wicket cricket tournament at Police Gymkhana Ground in Marine Lines. Once again it was a very successful and very competitive event, with a number of regular cricketing players participating this year in the single wicket competition.

Considering the heat in April and certain religious days, the tournament however did not generate large interest. On the other hand, it was a very keenly fought tournament and new winners emerged and new upcoming talent also was seen.

Rishin Shah again was the runner up and a new winner Priyul Shah emerged as the Champion of Champions in the Men’s Single Wicket. Among the Under 14, the very talented winner Ronit Modi emerged as winner. The organisers are confident that he will go up the ranks and also make Palanpur Samaj very proud in the years to come.

PSK Committee looks forward to higher participation next year in the cricket tournament and also good response to the other tournaments in the current year.

The tournament was a success thanks to the sports committee members who put a lot of effort.
