Sriya Bhavin Mehta

Sriya, daughter of Mital and Bhavin Mehta, won the Gold Medal in U-17 Girls Badminton at the Ahmedabad District KhelKumbh tournament in August. She also secured Silver and Bronze medals as part of the Ahmedabad district teams at different state level tournaments in 2018. 


Sriya has completed her training at the Prakash Padukone Academy in Bangalore.

 
At the state level Badminton tournament organized by Gujarat Badminton Association in November, Sriya won Bronze Medal  in Doubles under 17 Girls with her partner Sanjana Dalal. 
 
Currently,Sriya is training at the Academy of Prakash Padukone in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
Shaurya Samkit Shah

Shaurya, son of Sejal and Samkit Shrenik Shah, won the Under 9 Badminton championship Trophy in Antwerp in March 2018.

He is the grandson of Smita & Shrenik Kantilal Shah and Smita & Shailesh Taranchand Bhansali. 

Sriya Bhavin Mehta

Sriya, daughter of Mital and Bhavin Nareshbhai Mehta, was a winner in the under-17 singles title in Ahmedabad City Khel Mahakumbh District Level Badminton Tournament held in September 2017. The Std X student of Nirma Vidya Vihar defeated Anushka Shah of Mount Carmel School in the final. 
 

Last year, Sriya, along with her partner Sanjana Dalal won Silver Medal in Badminton Girls Doubles under 17 event in Khel Mahakumbh state level tournament organized by Sports Authority of Gujarat held at Surat. 
 

Earlier in June 2016, she partnered with Devni Haria and won a Bronze medal in the Girls Doubles U-17 age group at the Gujarat State Badminton Championship held at Adani Shantigram. In May 2016, she won three silver medals – Junior U-17 Singles & Doubles, as well as in Women’s Doubles at the North Carolina Open, USA which had participants from China, India and the US. In the Junior category she partnered with Neha Pendayala, and Indian-origin American, while in the Women’s category her partner was Xian Zang of China. Before that, in February, Sriya also won a Silver medal in the Girls U-15 Doubles (with Ishita Shah as partner) at the JITO National Games 2016 and contributed to the JITO Ahmedabad chapter winning the national trophy with the highest win points. 
 

In 2015, Sriya secured 3rd place in the Girls U-15 Doubles event at the Toral Memorial Open Gujarat Badminton Tournament held at Palanpur in September. The tournament is approved by the Gujarat Badminton Association. At that time, thirteen year old Sriya held the 10th rank in singles and 5th rank in doubles at the Gujarat state level. She represented the state in National level tournaments at Tiruppur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Gulbarga in singles & doubles events during 2014 and 2015. Earlier she won a Gold Medal in JITO Games played at Ahmedabad U-17 years singles category in December 2014.

Sriya was captain of her School "Nirma Vidya Vihar" badminton team and took part in the CBSE board west zone school games in 2014-15 in U-14 girls category team event at Indore. She stood 3rd in Inter school games in Ahmedabad District (Rural).
