Pravin B Mehta Honored at 40th Anniversary Celebrations of IDCA New York

Pravin Bhogibhai Mehta, a well known name in the diamond industry in USA, was honored by the Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association (IDCA), New York at its recent 40th anniversary celebrations. Pravinbhai was the Founding President of the association and held office from 1984-86.

PSK Women’s Forum Holds Annual Dandia Raas Programme

Palanpur Samaj Kendra - Women’s Forum organised their annual Dandia Raas program on 22nd October 2024 at the Sharda Mandir school hall.
The event was really successful with all women members dressed up in colourful clothes and ethnic jewellery, dancing away with vibrant energy, celebrating the community’s traditional culture. All of them enjoyed a lot while doing garba & raas with infectious music by DJ Nisha R Mehta.

Former VMT Student Syed Mahmood Captained India at U-23 Mini Football World Cup in Croatia

Mohammad Syed, a former student of Vidyamandir who is currently pursuing a degree in software engineering, was selected as the captain of the India team that participated in the Mini Football Under 23 World Cup held in Croatia, Europe from October 6 to October 11.

PSK Kalakshetra – A New Initiative to Promote Dance and Other Performing Arts

Palanpur Samaj Kendra recently launched its latest initiative, PSK Kalakshetra, a platform that aims to promote and encourage various forms of performing arts. The first programme, a dance class, commenced in March and a new batch will be starting soon. PSK Kalakshetra has taken shape thanks to the striving and efforts of two core committee members, Smt Saroj Mehta and Dr Shefali Shah.

Lilavati Hospital Introduces New Discount on OPD services for PO / PSK Members

The management of Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai has added a new facet to its special discount package for members of Palanpur Online (PO) / Palanpur Samaj Kendra (PSK). The hospital will now provide OPD services at 10% discount on doctor's consultation and investigation, as well as a 10% discount on medicine under OPD.
