Hasmukhbhai V. Mehta, well known social worker who was closely associated with many charitable organisations in the city, and a leading member of the Rotary Club, passed away recently in Palanpur. He was known for his firmness in decision making and the gentleness of his heart, both of which were evident in ample measure in his work.
Noted businessman, philanthropist, and pioneer of the diamond community in Belgium Prabodh Kirtilal Mehta passed away on November 3rd, 2020, in Antwerp, Belgium. He is survived by his children Chetan and Neena, his daughter-in-law Seema, son-in-law Sonu Parikh, and grandchildren Esha, Ayush, Naman-Devika, and Umang.

Well known businessman Jayantibhai Thakorlal Mehta, probably the oldest member of the Palanpuri Jain community passed away at Kolkata on October 18, 2020 at the age of 103. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Reenaben & Tusharbhai Suraiya, and grandchildren Pranaybhai - Nehaben, Kajalben - Hiteshbhai, Komalben - Samirbhai, Vivekbhai, Vanitaben – Rohanbhai, and his great grandchildren.
