Justice Kalpesh S. Jhaveri has been appointed by the Hon’ble President of India as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court on August 1, 2018. He will succeed Justice Vineet Saran who has been elevated to the Supreme Court.

Super senior citizen and veteran golfer Suresh Kirtilal Mehta recently won the Super Senior Golf Tournament held at Pune for players from across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa. Mehta, who is now 86 years of age, is one of the oldest golf players in the country, and possibly the only one who actively participates and even wins tournaments
