Rupen M Jhaveri has been named as one of India’s top young business leaders in the Economic Times Annual ’40 Under Forty’ List of 2018. Currently the Managing Director, Private Equity at leading global investment firm KKR, Rupen has led the firm in making a number of major investments in multiple Indian businesses.
Arun Kirtilal Bhansali, a pioneer of diamond business in the US and founder President of Share and Care Foundation of US, passed away on August 21, 2018 in New Jersey, USA. He was 76. Arunbhai was a pioneer and visionary, a highly respected member of both the business community and the community at large. Whether in promoting the diamond business or through his philanthropic work, Arunbhai actively worked for the greater good.
Palanpur Samaj Kendra (PSK) Sports Committee recently held the annual badminton tournaments at CCI Badminton courts. The participation and the participants were of the highest quality. There were some very intriguing and tough games during the tournament as every participant had a point to prove when he or she entered the court.
Anshul K. Kothari will represent India in the swimming competition at the 18th Asian Games which will be held in Jakatra and Palembang, Indonesia from August 18 to September 2, 2018. This is the third time that the swimmer will be participating in the Asian Games, having earlier been part of the Indian contingent in 2010 and 2014 also.
