The Palanpur Samaj Kendra will be organising its annual ‘Rising Stars’ function to felicitate meritorious students of the Banaskantha community residing in Mumbai. The programme will be held on February 21, 2016.

Palanpur Samaj Kendra invites applications from meritorious students with following achievements attained during the period 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2015:
•    Above 80% in Std 10
•    Above 75% in Std 12
•    Distinction in graduate examinations
•    Postgraduate degrees

The Kendra also invites applications from sportspersons who have played in semifinaland final matches at the State, National & International Levels.

Awards will also be conferred for procuring a distinction in the following:
•    ~Diplomasfrom AICTE/DTE recognised universities/ deemed universities/recognised autonomous institutions like C.A. etc.
•    ~Diplomas completed post 10th/12th grade (at least 2 years in duration).
•    ~Postgraduate diplomas (at least 1 year in duration).
•    ~Full time diplomas are accepted.

For part time diplomas, the committee will consider each application on a case to case basis.
