Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur received a handsome contribution of Rs 1.77 crore from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a global body with a strong presence of India which will be used for the further development of the educational activities of the Trust.
The donation was handed over by Ms Nirupa Bhatt, MD, GIA-India & Middle East to Russell Mehta, Chairman of Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur at Mumbai on March 25, 2019. Also present on the occasion were Rajiv P Mehta, Vasant Parikh, and Pathik Kothari, all Trustees of VMT.
Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur is an over 70-year old organisation which runs 124 educational institutions spread over 14 campuses in Palanpur, with over 500 staff catering to the needs of about 6,000 students, including from among the differently-abled and underprivileged sections of society.
Members can now request for a soft copy of the names and addresses of all those listed in the Directory in Excel format.
