Neeti Mehta in Crunchbase Global List of ‘50 Female Entrepreneurs Everyone Should Know’

Neeti Mehta, Senior Vice President Brand Strategy & Culture Architect & Co-Founder for Automation Anywhere, a global leader in robotic process automation (RPA), a cutting edge technology based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been included on the global list of ‘50 Female Entrepreneurs Everyone Should Know’. The list was recently released by Crunchbase, a leading international platform for interaction between professionals and their companies.

Mehta, daughter of Ilaben and Janakbhai Mehta, originally from Palanpur and now in Chennai, completed her degree in marketing from Bond University in Australia and has over 20 years of business management, marketing and entrepreneurial experience from a wide variety of industries, including technology, business consulting, and advertising. She is married to co-founder Mihir Shukla and is the daughter-in-law of Ramilaben and Late Sanatbhai Shukla.

Neeti co-founded Automation Anywhere in 2003 along with two other partners, Ankur Kothari and Mihir Shukla, both from Palanpur. She currently leads brand and culture strategies, and initiatives across the company. Among her other responsibilities, she is also the company’s thought leader and vocal advocate of “bot ethics” in a world moving decisively towards AI and influences business strategy in scaling and driving company success.

The Crunchbase list was compiled in March on the occasion of Women’s History Month, and highlights what it describes as “the 50 female entrepreneurs to watch in 2019. These women are solving problems and producing innovative solutions, for all members of society.”

The list has been carefully curated from a Crunchbase Pro search, and focuses on female founders who have raised funding in the last year, the report said. In an introduction to the list, author Denise Stephan writes, “All these women are particularly impressive, and they are listed in no particular order.”

She elaborates, “Some of these women are just starting off their entrepreneur journey, while others have raised over $800 million in funding. Many of these female founders champion women in their solutions or are addressing problems for commonly overlooked members of the community. All are paving the way for more women in tech.”

According to Crunchbase, Mehta’s company has raised $550 million in funding during the last year from investors such as Workday Ventures, NEA, Goldman Sachs, Softbank Vision Fund, and others.

Automation Anywhere uses intelligent process robots to change the way businesses operate, delivering complex businesses and IT work across many processes like HR administration, procure-to-pay, and claims processing.

Its solution is one of the industry’s most widely deployed, enterprise-grade RPA solutions and its customer roster now includes 90 percent of the world’s top healthcare companies, 85 percent of the world’s top technology companies, more than 85 percent of the world’s top banks and financial services companies, and 80 percent of the world’s top telecommunications companies.
