Art Facet, the art gallery opened recently by well known artist Rajul Amish Mehta has been rapidly gaining in popularity among art lovers in Singapore. The gallery had already organised three well received shows -- Art Singapore, Art Malaysia and Affordable Art – since it opened its doors in January 2010. A solo show featuring Rajul’s works is being planned for the coming year.

The gallery is located in the heart of the city on the 19th floor at International Plaza, and has focused on showing the works of innovative young talent from all around the globe, offering its patrons in Singapore works of a diversity of mid-career, emerging, and well-established artists ranging from painters and photographers, to sculptors, installers, and performers.

Before moving to Singapore about a year ago, Rajul had developed a reputation as a well known artist during her 20 years in Israel. Having first studied art at the University of Bombay, she continued her studies at Beit Berl in Israel and took part in solo and group shows both in that country and many other parts of the world including London, New York ,Italy, Russia, Switzerland, India, etc. Her works are also widely shown in distinguished Art Museums, institutes and exhibitions across the world.

Rajul was chosen as Israel's Cultural Ambassador for 2005. Earlier in 2003, she received an award from Artist's Museum Israel Center in recognition of her contribution in building up the museum’s image and in 2006 was felicitated by Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) for her outstanding performance in the world of art.
