On September 26th, Palanpur Samaj Kendra – Women’s Forum proudly presented CREATIONS 2025, a vibrant showcase of creativity and empowerment. Hosted at the prestigious World Trade Center, the exhibition brought together 126 talented women from the community, each displaying remarkable talent.
Palanpur Female Hospital received the prestigious ‘Dhanvantari Samman 2025' under the category Humanitarian Service at the recent vTV News conclave held in Ahmedabad. The hospital was among the nine from Gujarat, and the only one from Banaskantha, on the winner’s list. The award was presented by Minister of Health, Government of Gujarat, Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel, and received by Dr. Satyatvatiben Kothari, senior Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, representing the institution and its Board of Trustees.
Dr Dhairav Shah, a senior consulting musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 13 years in practice, was awarded a Gold Medal for Best Paper Presentation in the senior research category at a conference of the Indian Association of Physiotherapy (IAP) held at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi on September 13-14, 2025. Dhairav is the son of Malti and Alkesh Vasantlal Shah.
Payalkumari Bharatkumar Kuria recently completed her doctoral thesis in Jain Philosophy and was awarded a PhD from L.J. University, Ahmedabad. Payal is an alumnus of Vidyamandir Trust Palanpur having completed her school studies in the Science stream in 1996.
The PSK Badminton Tournament 2025, the first of this year’s tournaments conducted by the Palanpur Samaj Kendra’s Sports Committee, marked a super start to the new sporting year.
In what is clearly an outstanding achievement, Dr Vikrambhai Manilal Mehta has recently been awarded his third doctorate from the Faculty of Commerce (Business Administration), Pune University. His latest PhD on "A Study of Administrative Problems in Panjrapole Managed by Public Trusts in Gujarat" is an inspiring milestone that redefines perseverance and the pursuit of knowledge, as he achieved this at the age of 86.
