Rishab Shah wins Singapore Open Chess Championship for Boys U 12 Eleven
year old Rishab Shah became the first Indian player to win the U-12 title at the
Singapore Open Chess Championship held in December 2014, defeating the top three
seeds on his way to the gold medal. Rishab was the 4th seed.
Eminent Political Scientist Prof. Rajni Kothari Passes Away Prof Rajni Kothari,
a highly respected political scientist, scholar and socially concerned individual
passed away in Delhi on January 19, 2015. He was 86 years.
Shree Palanpuri Sthanakvasi Jain Association formed in Mumbai Members of
the community have recently come together to form a new body, the Shree Palanpuri
Sthanakvasi Jain Association. Over 400 people have already joined the organisation
and the committee has invited all others who are eligible to join.
PSK Cultural Committee Hosts Sightseeing Tour for members
The Cultural Committee of Palanpur Samaj Kendra organised a three-day sightseeing
tour to Deolali, Saputara and Igatpuri for members of the organisation. The trip,
held from January 9-11, 2015, was a memorable experience for all.
