Members of the community have recently come together to form a new body, the Shree Palanpuri Sthanakvasi Jain Association. Over 400 people have already joined the organisation and the committee has invited all others who are eligible to join.

The committee of this new body includes:

Treasurer – Ajay R. Jhaveri
Members – Ashwin M. Mehta, Kiran S. Mehta, Mayank D. Mehta, Mukesh J. Choksi, Pankaj G. Shah, Paresh R.Mehta, Premal R.Choksi, Sanjiv R.Mehta (all from Mumbai), Ashok B. Mehta, Bhupendra R.Mehta (both from Surat) and Dinesh C. Mehta (Navsari)

The association has defined its aims as:

i. Compilation of the names of all Palanpuri SthanakvasiJain families and get them to participate in get together and other social events
ii. To bring together the Sthanakvasi community to unitedly face any difficulties to themselves or their property.
