Dilip Amirambhai Purohit, a student of Banaskantha District Kelavani Mandal, Palanpur (BDKM) managed, R.R. Mehta College of Science and C.L. Parikh College of Commerce, was felicitated by the President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu for his exemplary service as volunteer of NSS (National Service Scheme) unit run by the college.
All five existing office-bearers who together constitute the main Working Group at the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) were renominated for another term by the Managing Committee. All of them are well-known Palanpuri diamantaires.

The first ever activity taken up by the Palanpuri Jain Samaj Young Group, an Exhibition cum Fun-n-Fair held on September 24 at World Trade Centre, Mumbai was a tremendous success. The event has 118 booths spread across 25,000 sq ft and attracted about 3,500 visitors.
