Bright and vibrant, colourfully dressed Dandia enthusiasts moved to the pulsating tunes of traditional songs at the Raas Garba event hosted by Palanpur Samaj Kendra (PSK) Women's Forum. it was held at Sharda Mandir Hall on Friday September 23, 2022.

Members danced and swirled to the rhythmic beats of Gujarati folk songs. Colourful traditional attire with large chunky jewellery like bangles, anklets, earrings and necklaces that many of the members wore, set the tone of the festive Navratri spirit of Gujarat. A few spirited Garba fans also performed a well-synchronised medley of this year's favourite songs - 'Dholida' and 'Vagyo Re Dhol'.
 

The Chief Guest, Mrs Binita Shah, apart from being an accomplished dancer, it also an entrepreneur, an artist, director, composer and a professional choreographer. She judged the event and prizes for Best Dressed and Best Dancers were awarded.
 

DJ Mac and his team caught on to the mood of the crowd and members grooved to the music. The sound and music score were sourced by Komon Cents Events.
 

Peppy music, enthusiastic participants and fun-dancing moments with friends will be a memory to cherish.
