Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur has entered its 75th year (1948-2023) and the highlight of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations will be a special two-day event on January 7- 8, 2023 in Palanpur. The celebrations also coincide with the Centenary of the founding of Shree Jain Shishushala (1921-2021).

During the January function, a number of new institutes and projects will be inaugurated and blessed. A new initiative, Vidyamandir Centre for Skill
Development (VCSD), will also be launched at the same time.

Vidyamandir Trust was founded in 1948 by a group of visionaries who believed that the best investment one could make for uplifting the people of Banaskantha was providing quality education at their doorsteps. They firmly believed that education is more than just imparting academic knowledge and includes a process of character building, enhancing mental abilities and the all-round personality of every child. 

With generous support from community members and other donors, the Trust has had stupendous growth during the last seven decades and more. Such support has helped VMT to establish, and where necessary, regularly upgrade modern facilities for the students’ academic and extracurricular pursuits, including schools, teachers’ training colleges, special centers for the arts, sports, information technology, rural education program and in Mamtamandir the education of Divyang students.

Today, the Trust has 164 institutes spread over 14 campuses and provides a value-based child-centered, creative, nurturing, and challenging environment for over 5500 students, so that they can maximize their innate potential. 

During this event, Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur along with Palanpur Samaj Kendra and few other organisations will hold a meeting in the evening of Saturday, January 7, 2023 in pious remembrance of Late Shri Arunkumarbhai R. Mehta and Late Shri Shirishbhai M. Modi, both of whom were stalwarts in their own rights and rendered outstanding selfless service for the betterment of our Palanpuri Institutions over several decades.
