The Inspiration Series: “Demonetisation and its Impact”

Palanpur Online and Palanpur Samaj Kendra will be holding an interaction with Madhusudan Kela, Chief Investment Strategist at Reliance Capital Ltd on “Demonetisation and its Impact” under the banner of The Inspiration Series.

The issue needs no introduction. The recently announced sudden decision to demonetise larger value notes, intended to wipe out counterfeit and black money, has massive implications. While the short-term effects – long lines and currency shortages – have been visible and covered by the press, there exist a number of far-reaching effects which will shatter our conventional business practices and way of thinking.

The Panel Discussion that will follow will attempt to discuss the issue from a more practical angle, and study its direct effects on the diamond industry and our businesses in particular.
