Welcome to Art of Jewelry Rendering-1!! An Online course taught in just 5 weeks by former GIA Instructor!!

It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or a professional, or simply want to learn a new skill, here is a great ONLINE course for you wherever you are in the world!!

You will be going on a journey of learning the basics of light theory, color theory and volume for basic 3-D objects and build your skills to render gemstones and jewels like an adept designer.

So, come learn the age-old art of rendering jewels with gouache paints and watercolors! Make time for yourself and escape ‘within’ whilst enhancing your creativity or learning a new skill in just 5 weeks!!

Gouache painting is a time-honored technique for illustrating jewels but is still used not only by big jewelry houses but individual jewelry designers.

—> What will you learn?

(1) Over the five weeks in this ONLINE course, you will start by learning the basics of light theory and volume for 3-D objects.

(2,3,4) Then in the following weeks, you’ll learn how to draw cabochons, diamonds, facetted colored stones, phenomenal stones (like opals, moonstones), and pearls.

(5) In the final week, you’ll learn how to apply cast shadows and understand how to paint the overall composition of a jewel.

We will also meet weekly to discuss your queries and improve your work!!
