Kirtilal Doshi Publishes “Dahapanana Divada”

Well known diamantaire, philanthropist and community leader Kirtilal K. Doshi has recently released a new book “Dahapanana Divada” which is a compilation of inspirational sayiings and quotable quotes collected by him during his career spanning many decades. Doshi has earlier published a number of other similar books both in English and Gujarati.

Now aged 95, Kirtilalbhai as he is popularly known, is Chairman Emeritus of Shrenuj & Co Ltd and also Gemmological Institute of India (GII) and former President of Shri Mahavira Jaina Vidyala Trust. He helped establish the Precious Metal Importers and Exporters Relief Fund, and set up the Jain Prayer Systems project at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) as well as the Jain Education and Research Centre at Vadodara University. During the last few years, Kirtibhai was also honoured by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, GII and Palanpur Samaj Kendra for his contributions to the industry.

He has been pursuing his passion of publishing such selections of inspirational writings ever since he stepped down from any active involvement in the day to day work of the business and social organisations he was associated with.
