Rajan Anandan, VP Google to Speak at Inspiration Series Event

The next event in the Inspiration Series, organised by Palanpur Online and Palanpur Samaj Kendra, is a talk by Rajan Anandan, Vice President, South East Asia and India, Google who will speak on “Google in India - Vision & Future Plans”.

The programme is being held on June 13,2017 ar 5.30 pm at The Banquet Hall, MCA, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

Elaborating on the theme, the invitation says, "Google has been, arguably, the single most significant development in the digital space in our times. It has revolutionised the way we learn, think, communicate and has opened a vast vista never before available to us -- that too, right at our fingertips.

 Profile of the Speaker

As Google’s Vice President, South East Asia and India Rajan Anandan is focused on expanding the Internet ecosystem in the region, increasing adoption among consumers and businesses and accelerating innovation. South East Asia and India, with over two billion consumers and 500 million Internet users, is the fastest growing internet user base in the world.
Rajan joined Google in early 2011 to lead Google's business in India. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Microsoft India and built India's largest software business. Before joining Microsoft, he was a Vice President with Dell where he held several global leadership roles including that of Executive Assistant to Chairman Michael Dell. Prior to that, Rajan was a Partner with McKinsey & Company in Chicago.
He holds an MSc from Stanford University and a BSc from MIT.
