Dr Rupa Mehta’s HEALTHSPACE Organises Free Physiotherapy Camp for Sadhvijis in Palitana

Dr Rupa M Mehta, a senior Mumbai-based physiotherapist organised a two day free Physiotherapy consultation and health camp for sadhvijis at Palitana on October 13 and 14. The camp was conducted under the auspices of her clinic, HEALTHSPACE, and around 200 sadhvijis availed of the benefits. Dr Rupa is the wife of Manoj Mafatlal Mehta.

The main goal of the programme was to spread to spread awareness about physiotherapy among the Jain religious community. A number of maharajsahebs tend to neglect their pain or live on pain killers without the knowledge that many of the aches and pains of the body can be easily treated with right exercise and postures.

Speaking about her experiences, Dr Mehta said, “We at HEALTHSPACE were very privileged to get the opportunity to serve these sadhviji maharajsahebs In Palitana. The feeling after the camp was immensely contentious and satisfying . We look forward to do similar camps on a larger scale in future.”
