PSK Cultural Committee Organises Annual Picnic

The Cultural Committee of Palanpur Samaj Kendra organised a day long picnic for the members to Treasure Island at Lonavala. It was a day full of fun and entertainment for all the 33 women who took part.

The group set out in the morning filled with zeal and enthusiasm and were warmly welcomed when they reached Lonavala by Saroj Mehta, Rajnika Mehta, and Surekhaben Manubhai Jhaveri.

During the day they played games and enjoyed the spicy and tasty food which was provided by Surekhaben and her son Sushil Jhaveri.

The highlight of the programme were the special events organised by the Treasure Island team. First there was Musical Housie conducted by Bharti (Antakshriand Musical Housie Host) and Devika. All at the picnic were thoroughly engrossed in the melodies of old and new songs, and were unaware of the time.

After lunch, there were more interesting games conducted by Sazia (an event organiser at TI). Through the day, all those at the picnic, ranging in age from 50 to 87 years, displayed their talents through dancing, singing, enacting skits, fancy dress, etc. Everyone participated one participated and the memories will be unforgettable.
