This festive season, Womens Forum members grooved with gusto to the beats of Gujarati folk music at the Raas-Garba event held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Sharda Mandir School Hall.
 

Swriling of bright, colourful traditional ghagras and sarees, pulsating rhythm of traditional folk music by DJ Pragnesh and an evening of energetic and playful dancing made the event thoroughly enjoyable.

Mrs Vasundhara Mehta, an exponent of traditional and folk dance forms, kindly accepted the invitation to judge the event and gave away the prizes.

A group of enthusiastic members from the Forum had rehearsed a garba from a dance teacher, Urmi. They performed gracefully to a medley of catchy Gujarati songs,

Upbeat music, dancing to the tunes of raas garba and tasty snacks made the evening come alive.
