Nilesh Sheth (Nice Diamonds) has been recently elected as the President of the Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association (IDCA) while Sujan Doshi (SA Diamond Inc) has been elected as the Vice-President for the year 2019. 
 

The IDCA, a New York based gem and jewellery trade association, was established as a not for profit organization in 1984. It provides a platform for its members to network with each other and promotes the business of its members within the United States.
 

Three other Palanpuri diamantaires were also elected to the Board of Directors for the year. 
 

Sheth has been on the Board of IDCA since Jan 1, 2012 and has earlier held positions of Treasurer and Secretary of the association, and was actively involved with hosting a number of educational and marketing programmes for the members. He is also a member of the Board of JBT (Jewelers Board of Trade) since 2016, and earlier was a member of the Board of the Natural Color Diamond Association (NCDIA).

Sheth said that his parents, Manjula and Rasiklal Sheth are “the pillars of my success” and he would not have reached where he has “without their guidance”.

Doshi, son of Avanika & Sunil Doshi, was elected to the IDCA Board for the first time in 2018. This is his second consecutive year on the Board.
