It was an auspicious occasion for the Palanpuri Jain samaj when Smt Diptiben Deepakbhai Doshi announced her decision to take Diksha, the journey of spiritual enlightenment by renouncing her family and the material world.
The Diksharthi made her decision known and the auspicious date for Diksha was announced by Pujya Gurushri Kirtiyashsuriji in Surat as December 12, 2018. Bahuman Samarambh was organised in Mumbai on November 18, 2018 by Shri Palanpur Jain Murti Pujak Sangh, Shri Jagadguru Jain Mitra Mandal, Shri Pallaviya Parshvanath Trust, Sarve Mangal Trust, Palanpur Samaj Kendra, Palanpur Tapgachh Upashray, Bhojanshala, Kanyachhatralay, Vadil Vishranti Ghruh, Panjrapole Trust & Parikh Karamchand Mayachand Ghar Derasar Trust.
Some weeks later she then accepted Diksha at a ceremony in Surat on December 12, 2018 due to the gratitude bestowed by the divine blessings of Acharyadev Shri Ramchandra Surishwarji Maharajsaheb and Pravanchan Prabhavak Acharyadev Shri Kirtiyash Surishwarji Maharajsaheb. She was announced as ‘’Kantpragynashriji Mahasatiji’’ as shishya of Pujya Prashmitashriji Mahasatiji. Her Vadidiksha will be bestowed on January 19, 2019 in Daman.
Diptiben is the daughter-in-law of Mangalaben and Shantilal Ratanchand Doshi and daughter of Pushpaben and Dhirajlal Sobhagchand Parikh.
At the age of almost 60, she realised the transience of material happiness and embarked on a spiritual enlightenment journey, renouncing her loving family of parents, siblings, husband, children, grandchildren and friends, and accepted Diksha.
