PSK Women’s Forum organised CREATIONS 2019 on September 14 at the World Trade Center, Mumbai.

The now well-developed brand CREATIONS, born out of Palanpur Samaj Kendra Women’s Forum 25 years ago, grew and developed under the guidance and supervision of one of the founding members Dr. Satuben Mehta. What started with 10 stalls has now developed into a big exhibition with nearly 100 stalls and still growing in a robust manner.

This year, CREATIONS was inaugurated by chief guest Shantibhai Mangaljibhai Mehta of D. Navinchandra Export (P). Ltd. It was further graced by Bharatbhai S. Shah – President, Navinchandra D. Mehta – Chairman and Palanpur Samaj Kendra Committee members.

This event brought into the limelight a lot of fresh talent with a variety of stalls this year as well. From apparels to jewelry, from personal care organic products to variety of sumptuous food it had all. It had the precision of a very well curated show which attracted people from all walks of life. For a one-day exhibition this was a total success with the kind of footfall and sales it generated. Every stall holder was elated with the overwhelming response. A variety of freshly made hot snacks and other food items were a good stress buster and not to mention about the retail therapy our visitors had on a bright and sunny Saturday. 
 

The key to this success of the brand is the relentless work of the forum’s committee members, without any commercial interest and who work purely towards empowering budding women entrepreneurs and homepreneurs. It is also a robust platform for career focused women who want to grow professionally. It is certainly a matter of pride for the Samaj to facilitate a showcase platform for aspiring women who wish to display their skills and talent.
 

It is said that if you want to check the prosperity and forward thinking of a family or a community then one must look at how they treat their women. It is a matter of pride for many that the Palanpur community is certainly a role model in this aspect too. Every second woman married or single is equally running a successful enterprise; and this speaks volumes about the progressive thinking of the community. The other interesting part is the community people come in overwhelming numbers to support the event which exemplifies the solidarity of this cohesive Samaj.

CREATIONS comes once in two years and wins many accolades with its simplicity and creativity.
