The Palanpur Samaj Kendra Charitable Trust hosted a cultural programme by the students of Sabarmati Gurukulam in Gujarat. The event was held at Tejpal Auditorium in Mumbai on Saturday January 25, 2020.
In an introduction, Gurukulam Trustee Shri Anilbhai Shah gave a comprehensive explanation of the upbringing of students at the institution.
During the programme, entitled Gurukulam Kala Vaibhav, the young students of the institution from Ahmedabad, put up some enchanting musical, natak and dance performances, including playing tabla, jaltarang, sitar, as well as enthralling displays of yoga and yoga pyramid, karate, malkhamb rope, kushti, etc.
Gracing the evening were Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MLA, Smt Jyotsnaben Mehta, Corporator and many leading members of the community including 96-year old Shri Kirtibhai Doshi.
Sponsors of the programme included Kavinbhai C Parikh (Parikh Foundation), Arunbhai R. Mehta (Rosyblue) and Pravinbhai S. Kothari (Jewelex India Pvt. Ltd.).
Chairman of Palanpur Samaj Kendra Shri Navinbhai D. Mehta presented gifts to all the participating students.
The show was attended by a large number of well wishers who greatly enjoyed the performances by the young artistes.
