Smt. Anilaben Navinchandra Mody (Antwerp) has donated a generous sum of Rs 1 crore to facilitate the construction of a large, multipurpose Assembly Hall on the Vidyamandir main campus which is used by the students of the various institutions run by the Trust.

The new hall is spread over 6,000 sq ft and has the capacity to accommodate up to 1,000 students. It is well equipped with efficient sound system, projector and stage.

Currently, it is being used by the students of Std 3-12 of the English and Gujarati medium schools on the campus. Among the activities conducted in the hall are daily prayer, yoga classes, celebrations of festivals, teachers’ training programmes, monthly parents’ meetings, exhibitions of project work of the students, etc.

The hall is atop Shri Navinchandra Dahyalal Mody Bhavan which was constructed with the help of an earlier generous donation from Smt. Anilaben Navinchandra Mody. The Bhavan houses various Centers that run extra-curricular activities for the students of Std 3 to 12.
