Anshul Kothari, ace swimmer with many creditable achievements at national and international competitions, once again was one of the star performers for Gujarat, being part of the two medal-winning teams at the 36th National Games which was held in the state. He is the son of Sushama & Ketan Rasiklal Kothari.
Anshul was part of the team which won the Silver medal in the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay and also of the team that won the Bronze medal in the 4 x 100m Mixed Medley Relay. He was also given the honour of being Flag Bearer for the state’s contingent (the largest with 681 athletes) at the formal inauguration which took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on September 29, 2022 in the presence of the Hon. Prime Minister himself in front of an audience of over 1,00,000 people.
