Pranay Mehta, MD & CEO of the 110-year old jewellery design house Thakorlal Hiralal was recently felicitated during the Global Marketing Excellence Awards held on November 22 in Mumbai along with the 9th World Marketing Congress. Pranay was awarded recognition among the ‘Most Influential Marketing Leaders’.
The citation awarded to Pranay Mehta describes him as a “4th generation diamantaire who heads the 110-year old jewellery design house Thakorlal Hiralal… (where he) took over the reins about 15 years ago... known for creating exceptional and one-of-a-kind jewelled masterpieces for clients reflecting the firm's heritage of style and craftsmanship as well as new direction in quality modern design.”
It also highlights the “significant contributions to CSR majorly in healthcare and female empowerment… the family runs one of the largest dialysis centres in Kolkata and are donors and trustees on SRCC Children's Hospital in Mumbai… as well as runs programmes for upliftment and empowerment of girl child in places like Latur and Nashik.”
