Prominent personalities from different fields, most of them with roots in Palanpur and Banaskantha, will preside over different events during the 75th anniversary celebrations of Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur (WMT) which will be held on January 7-8, 2022.
 

The Chief Guest at the Main Event on Sunday, January 8 will be Shri Gautam Adani, Founder and CEO of Adani Group, who is from Banakantha.  Several members of the wider Adani family have been students in VMT over the years. 
 

The Guests of Honour at the inaugurations of various new projects which will take place on January 7, include Shaileshbhai J. Mehta, Founder, Ex-Chairman and CEO of Providian Financial Corporation, a Fortune 300 company and benefactor of Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management at IIT Bombay; Mihirbhai S. Shukla, a Vidyamandir alumnus, and CEO and Co-Founder of Automation Anywhere (Valued at $6.8 bl), a leader in Robotics Process Automation (RPA); Pranavbhai Mistry, a Vidyamandir Alumnus, renowned scientist and inventor, Founder and CEO of TWO - working on Artificial Reality and Janakbhai Dwarkadas, Senior Advocate, Bombay High Court and one of the most respected advocates in the country.
 

As reported earlier, Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur has entered its 75th year (1948-2023) and the highlight of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations will be a special two-day event on January 7- 8, 2023 in Palanpur. The celebrations also coincide with the Centenary of the founding of Shree Jain Shishushala (1921-2021).
