Trip to ISKCON Juhu

The “Fun Corner for Super Seniors” organized as part of the PSK Senior Citizens Activity Centre has been receiving a huge and very enthusiastic response in recent months, with most programmes full to capacity. The Senior Citizens Centre is managed by Kantaben Mahendrakumar Mehta and Family.
 

Among the events that are highly appreciated are the regular sessions of Game Time, where the senior citizens are given an opportunity to try their hand at different games – carrom, cards, rummy cube, sequence and other interesting board games.

Other popular programmes were the picnic-outing to the ISKCON Hare Rama temple complex at Juhu, lunch at different restaurants, the Yoga sessions-including an outdoor one at Hanging Gardens, conducted by Smt Neeta Mehta and the occasional Movie Time afternoons when popular films are screened. 
 

Besides these, other regular activities – Religious stories and lectures by Rashmiben Desai, fun games by Reshma Mehta and Singing by Ravindra Kamble (Volunteers Nina Mehta and Shilpa Mehta) are also well attended.

At a Yoga session

Recently the Centre held a Magic show and Bubble show which provided those present with a number of unique experiences. These innovative events were organized by WOWza creative events.
 

PSK Senior Citizens Activity Centre runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 pm to 5 pm at Shanti building, Kemps Corner. The centre is directed and its activities coordinated by Mrs. Bela Shah (+91 98202 61383).
