The well-known saying ‘Age if just a number’ was once again proved true by the large turnout and enthusiastic participation of senior citizens from the community at the Navratri celebrations organised by the Palapur Samaj Kendra’s Senior Citizen’s Group. The activities of the group are managed by Kantaben Mahendrabhai Mehta family.

Held on October 19 at the PSK hall in Shanti Bungalow, Kemp’s Corner, the Dandiya programme was a great success. As many as 42 of the 52 persons who are enrolled with the Group turned out in their best traditional attire. Spanning ages 70 to 88, they enjoyed the vigorous dancing and displayed amazing energy levels. Prizes were awarded to the best dancer, the best dressed and so on.

 
It marked one more successful event curated for the senior citizens of the community.
