Tarana Ashish Mehta, VP Marketing at Rokt, a leading player in e-commerce technology had the unique honour of ringing the Opening Bell at Nasdaq in New York in early March. She was joined by a group of women to celebrate her company Rokt’s partnership with Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology supporting Emirati driver Hamda Al Qubaisi for the All-Female 2024 F1 Academy Season. Tarana who resides in New York, is the daughter of Kaushika & Sunil Rasiklal Mehta (Surgems).
Rokt’s support as Team Partner to the F1 team is part of its commitment to fostering gender diversity across sport, technology and business globally, the company had said.
In a post on LinkedIn, Tarana described the experience as “A New York moment like no other!” She also said, “Everything about the ceremony & event was electrifying & I am so proud of my team.”
Tarana has had a successful career in marketing and advertising spanning 15 years. After completing her MS in Advertising from Boston University in 2002, she has worked with leading marketing agencies such as McCann Erickson, Nurun, RMG Connect, Lowe Lintas, Webchutney of Dentsu working on prestigious client accounts including Coca Cola, L’Oreal, HSBC Direct and ICICI Prudential, among others. With her background and experience in brand digital strategy and development she has more recently worked with companies like Vida, whose eco-friendly recyclable masks made headlines during the pandemic and now Rokt, which has been described as The Netflix of Ecommerce!
