Punit Mehta, Partner & CEO, D Navinchandra Jewels, has been re-elected to the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) Board in June 2024. A veteran of the jewellery industry for over 25 years, this is his second term on the Board, having first been elected in 2021.
RJC is a leading international standard setting organisation across the jewellery and watch supply chain. The Board comprises the main office bearers and representatives from across different segments of the supply chains of these industries.
A deep understanding of global market trends and challenges enables Punit Mehta to engage diverse audiences and pursue sustainable and strategic initiatives aimed at driving meaningful change within the industry.
Alongside his professional endeavours, he encourages mindful choices by adhering to a Vegan lifestyle, prioritising animal welfare and environmental sustainability. He also dedicates himself to various organizations focussed on women empowerment and education for the under-resourced.
