On September 21st, CREATIONS 2024 organised by Palanpur Samaj Kendra - Women’s Forum brought forth the brilliant creativity and talent in the lady members of the community. The exhibition hosted at the World Trade Center, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai provided a valuable platform to 122 participants to showcase their brands and connect with potential clients.

The esteemed chief guest, Smt Satyavatiben Mehta fondly called Satuben, has initiated several important activities of the community. She was the one who was instrumental in holding the first exhibition 30 years ago, and since then she has been the pillar of strength and guiding force behind it.

PSK president Kanubhai Shah inaugurated the function. Many esteemed guests, sponsors and committee members of Palanpur Samaj Kendra, Sports Committee, Cultural Committee Yoga group and Senior Citizens Committee gave their valuable time to grace the occasion.

Creations 2024 was graciously sponsored by 11 companies of our community. Their generous sponsorships made a great impact on the cause and the organisers said that they greatly appreciated this contribution.

The grand show displayed products ranging from fine arts to handicrafts, fashionable clothes like evening wear, sarees, salwar suits and children’s night wear to high fashion jewellery. There were also gift items like home accessories, gift boxes and trays, ceramics, body rejuvenation products, sophisticated gift hampers, and personalised gift items. Festive Diwali decor items like torans, rangolis and diyas were also on display.

Delicious food items like home-made snacks, farsans and authentic home-made masalas, indulgent cakes & chocolates, and exclusive varieties of sandesh displayed the culinary talent of the community.

Mouthwatering cuisines ranging from traditional to international popular food items were served at the live food counters.

Instagram and social media played a vital role in spreading the word. With active support from the exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, the Palanpur Samaj Kendra Committee and the organisers - Women’s Forum Committee, the exhibition seamlessly provided an opportunity to the talented exhibitors to showcase their exciting creations.

The numerous visitors greatly appreciated the wide variety of beautiful products, the delicious food and the efficient venue set up.
