Arun Jogani Receives Presidential Lifetime Seva Award at JAINA Convention in Chicago

Arun J Jogani, a well-known Antwerp-based diamantaire, received JAINA’s Presidential Lifetime Seva Award at a special event in Chicago on July 5, 2025 held in the presence of over 5,000 people. The event formed a part of the 23rd convention of the Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA) held in Chicago, USA from July 3-6, 2025.

The award was conferred on Arunbhai in recognition of his exemplary philanthropic initiatives and a lifetime of service to Jain Dharma and Global Jain Unity, the organization said.

The JAINA Presidential Award is a special acknowledgement bestowed upon organizations and individuals for their unwavering support and commitment to the betterment of the community. The award recognizes those who have made significant contributions towards creating a positive and lasting impact on society.

Bindesh Shah, President JAINA and Atul Shah, Convention Convener said that Arunji has exhibited an unwavering commitment to the advancement and welfare of the community. His relentless efforts and substantial contributions have profoundly impacted numerous lives, epitomizing the essence of philanthropy and community service.

They noted that as a founding Trustee of JITO's Saman Arogyam, Arunji has played a vital role in ensuring the well-being of Jain sadhus and sadhvis, embodying the principle of seva with profound dedication. They further said that his philanthropic contributions span continents, supporting Jain temples, Patshalas, and humanitarian causes in Queens, Detroit, Leicester, Franklin, New York and Antwerp among many others.

JAINA said that Arunji’s generosity and commitment has been a beacon of hope and inspiration for all.
