Forbes List of “The Seven Wonders of AI” Includes Company Co-founded by Trio with Roots in Palanpur

Automation Anywhere (AA), the company that is a global leader in enterprise automation, has been included in a recent article in leading business publication Forbes, as one of those unveiling “The Seven Wonders of AI”. The article specifically features the company for its “leadership of the Agentic Process Automation (APA) category”.

Among the co-founders of AA are Mihir Shukla (CEO and Board Chair), Ankur Kothari (COO and Board Member) and Neeti Mehta-Shukla (Social Impact Officer), all three with roots in Palanpur. Mihir Shukla is also an alumnus of Vidyamandir.

Author of the Forbes article, Dean DeBiase, writes, “Just as ancient civilizations once marveled at the Seven Wonders of the World, today we are witnessing a new wave of awe from artificial intelligence. While it seems like not one hour goes by without a new product or service launch – or even entirely new AI categories being created – it’s worth taking a moment to reflect on the seven categories of advancements that are truly game-changing. From transforming how we commute, work, and create to rebooting healthcare and manufacturing, AI is driving breakthroughs in real-time, with cross-sector impacts that will span decades.”

In addition to Automation Anywhere, the list includes a number of other well-known companies with outstanding achievements in AI. These are OpenAI and Anthropic (Large Language Models), NVIDIA (Graphics Processing Units), Waymo (Autonomous Driving), Adobe (AI-Powered Creativity), Google DeepMind (Biological Research), Hyundai and Tesla (Robots).

Noting that AA’s Agentic Process Automation (APA) work through its “first-to-market Process Reasoning Engine (PRE)” is “accelerating mission-critical work”, DeBiase notes that it is “trained on 400M+ automations to understand complex workflows and drive intelligent decision-making across enterprise systems.”

Quoting CEO Mihir Shukla, DeBiase writes “PRE has driven ‘a significant step forward towards artificial general intelligence for work, laying the foundation for today’s autonomous enterprise and moving us beyond task-based automation to a new era where AI can reason, learn, and adapt to complex business processes.’”

In conclusion, the author says, “Times like these need bold leaders and builders who are focused on growth and prosperity for the greater good – with democratized opportunities for businesses of all shapes and sizes – not just industry big-dogs.

“Let’s not look to AI as the next round of opportunistic tech hype, but as enabling a true renaissance that rivals the imagination and impact of any ancient wonder. These seven breakthroughs and associated organizations are not merely shaping industries, they are seizing an historic pivot point, laying the foundational building blocks for more companies and people to join this reboot – one marvel at a time.”
