At the Inauguration
The Hirani Mata Sthanak Sankul, Hirani Mata Sthanak Chowk and the Smt. Diwaliben Harilal Mehta Atithi Gruha, which is an integrated part of the Sankul, created by the Hirani Mata Sthanak Trust was inaugurated at Palanpur on February 12, 2010. The inauguration was attended by about 230 members of the Hirani Mehta parivaar from across India. While nearly 150 members arrived as a group from Mumbai, others came from Surat, Navsari, Mumbai and Bangalore, and were also joined by members from Palanpur.
The Hirani Mata Sthanak Sankul
The three day function began with the Navkar Mantra by Sanyuktaben Mehta and Ashaben Mehta, after which the Naming Ceremony for the Hirani Mata Chowk and the unveiling of the granite monument named as Hirani Mata Chowk was done by Navinbhai Mehta, Rajnikant Mehta, Jitendrabhai Mehta and Mayankbhai Mehta. The Hirani Mata Sthanak Sankul was inaugurated by the head of the Hirani Mata Sthanak Trust, Dineshbhai Mehta.
Subsequently the Smt. Diwaliben Harilal Mehta Atithi Gruha was declared open by lighting of a lamp at the hands of Sanyuktaben Mehta, Indiraben Mehta, Saritaben Mehta, Subhadraben Choudhary and Ashokbhai Mehta. This was followed by a ‘Samuh Jeti’ performed by Jitendrabhai Mehta.

After this function, members from the parivaar including Dineshbhai Mehta, Jitendrabhai Mehta, Sanyuktaben Mehta, Satyavatiben Mehta, Mayankbhai Mehta spoke about different aspects of the project and on other important themes, and then all assembled for Aarti at the Sankul.
The following day the parivaar members participated in a day long Yatra to the Sundha Mataji Mandir, the place of origin of the Hirani Mata, and then returned to Palanpur in the evening. After an early morning Aarti on the 14th, the parivaar members left for their respective destinations.
