Rosy Blue Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Rosy Blue Alliance has appealed to community members to share suggestions and ideas related to new projects that seek to tackle social problems within India. These should ideally be entirely fresh ideas or projects for which community service organisations are seeking funding and support.

Shloka Russell Mehta, who has recently taken charge as full time director of the RBF says, “We are primarily interested in projects and ideas that work towards creating a large impact with the motivation of social benefit.” The Foundation has made the appeal keeping in mind the fact that there are many community members who are either directly involved with, or know people who are directly involved with, a lot of service based activities.

“If they meet the parameters that we have now set for the Foundation, we will be more than happy to collaborate with them and help translate their ideas or project plans into reality,” she adds. However, she clarified that that the Foundation’s activities seek to be philanthropic rather than charitable, and it will not consider requests for individual financial aid. The goal of the Foundation is to make a large-scale, group impact.
