Many community members successfully participated in the Mumbai Marathon held on January 18, 2015, with at least two of them – Vishal S. Bhansali and Chirag P. Mehta – completing the gruelling full marathon of 42km from Mumbai CST to Bandra Sea Link and back.

For Bhansali this was the fourth consecutive year that he completed the full marathon, having done five half marathons in the years between 2007-2011. He has also completed half marathons in Delhi and Pondicherry as well. His timing in the Mumbai event this year was 4.07.03 hrs.

Chirag P. Mehta completed the full marathon in 04:48 hrs. This was his sevnth full marathon, having done six in Mumbai and one in Vasai-Virarin earlier years.  In December 2014, Mehta ran the Vasai-Virar half marathon in 01:57 hrs. This was his 8th half marathon (six in Mumbai and two in Vasai Virar).

Besides them Shainita Mehta finished the half marathon in 02:48 hrs, the third time she has done so, Rajiv P. Mehta, a debut participant, also did the half marathon finishing in 02:19 hrs, while Siddharth S. Mehta covered the same distance in  02:16 hrs.
