Goraniji Upashray in Palanpur renovated by Samir R Mehta family

The ‘Goraniji Upashray’ in Palanpur has recently been renovated by Samir Rasiklal Mehta and family in memory of their parents Late Jaywantiben and Rasiklal Manilal Mehta. The new two-storey structure was rebuilt with a new foundation and new structure with the support of Samirbhai, Naynaben, Ankurbhai, Niharbhai, Manaliben, Mayshaben and Bhihanbhai.

A Swami Vatsalya lunch was organized on October 29 by the donors to mark the inauguration of the building, which was well attended by nearly 150 members of Palanpur Jain Sthanakvasi Sangh.

The renovated structure will now be more habitable for the sadhvijis as well as the people who come to visit them.

Earlier this year, Naynaben Samirbhai Mehta had sent a team of five teachers to organise and catalogue the books in Jivanwadi–Sangh’s Library consisting of nearly 1,500 books.
