Nishit Parikh, a senior Palanpuri diamantaire in Antwerp, was elected as the Vice President of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) for 2016-18 at the first meeting of the new Board of Directors. Parikh, who was AWDC President in 2010-12, is a Director of Diarough. He was elected unopposed to the Board in Category 1 on June 14 for a four year term. A number of other Palanpuri diamantaires were also elected to the Board on June 14 for a four year term.
These include Chetan Amratlal Shah of Simplex, Rajiv Kothari of Diamstones and Samir Mehta of Snehdiam.
