Aakash Jhaveri, a 19 year old who is associated with tech company EOTO, was the winner of a promotional contest and had the privilege of being the first to ‘unbox’ the latest version of the OnePlus smart phone in India at events in Delhi and Mumbai. Aakash is the son of Seema and Rajkumar Chandrakant Jhaveri.

The company had announced the #LoopedIn contest asking fans of the phone to upload videos / comments on two questions: “When and how did you first hear about OnePlus and what do you like the most about it?” and “Why do you think you are the best person to win OnePlus 3 in an exclusive Helicopter ride with Droom?”

Aakash was declared the winner for his video and flew to Delhi for the India launch event on June 14. He was the first person in India to get the new phone. Later, on June 17, he went on a private chopper from Pawan Hans airport for a 1½ hour ride over Mumbai. “It was so much fun! Got to unbox the phone at a few thousand feet”, says Aakash.
