After the long-awaited sports season finally started, the Palanpur Samaj Kendra Sports Committee took up a pending and very important task to finish – conducting the prize distribution ceremony of Sports Events held during the year 2019 -2020! Incidentally, the function was delayed by over two years due to the Covid Pandemic! 
 

The prize distribution ceremony was held on November 27, 2022, at the Orient Club, Chowpatty, Mumbai, in presence of the sports committee and two very special personalities – Mr Mehulbhai Navinbhai Shah, who has been a keen supporter of sports and the Chief Guest, legendary Indian cricketer Mr Karsan Ghavri. 
 

Mehulbhai introduced the chief guest to the audience which comprised sponsors, winning participants and other well-wishers.
 

Mr. Karsan Ghavri offered some special words of wisdom and also advised the sportspersons present to always participate in sports with discipline & spirit. Kumarbhai Mehta, the convenor of Palanpur Samaj Kendra sports committee also shared a brief recap of the various sports activities conducted by the committee over the past many years. 
 

The Palanpur Samaj Kendra Sports Committee extended its thanks to all those who helped in making the event a great success, and asked those present to offer a special round of applause to the committee members for their tremendous efforts in making the sports activity and the prize distribution ceremony, a success.
